Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Lovely.......I think I am over sentimental this morning as I again had a tiny tear in my eye.....a birth of any animal is so amazing that it manages to make me cry!!!

Lovely Sally, just perfect with Disney good looks just for Chritstmas, all you need now is a donkey and a baby Jesus.
registered soay, castlemilk moorit  and north ronaldsay sheep, pygmy goats, steinbacher geese, muscovy ducks, various hens, lots of visiting mallards, a naughty border collie, a puss and a couple of guinea pigs

It may take me a while to choose her name - nothing on the shortlist at the mo.  I think it was a couple of weeks before I named her mum.

Old and rare breed Ducks, chickens, geese, sheep, guinea pigs, 3 dogs, 3 cats, husband and chicks brooding in the tv cabinate!
