Hello from rainy Wales
« on: December 17, 2012, 01:35:24 pm »
  :llama:Its pouring again in Flintshire.  I am smallholding sitting for a herd of 38, some of which are several miles away in rented fields.  Poor alpacas - they appear fed up and are looking longingly at me through the office window.  This morning at 8am they were looking longingly at me throough the kitchen window.  They do have a field shelter, a rack full of sweet meadow hay and were fed their nuts this morning and will get their evening feed at 4pm but their field is now pretty sodden.  A few days ago their fleeces were covered in frost, the sun was shining and the crias were jumping about like spring lambs.  My car was white originally, but is now an interesting mottled brown with bits of white visible here and there!  Lets all pray for a dry and sunny Christmas and New Year  :sunshine: Yvette of Assist Animal Care Services.
