I was just wondering how old a sheep could be to give birth to lambs for the first time? Can't find any info in any of my books.

Any age could give birth for the first time ( my friends 2 four shears escaped and found a ram ) just be carefull not to have to big lambs.

we lamb some of our "hogg's" born in feb and lamb the following year in the may!!

but they have to be biggish sheep and the ram you put to them shouldnt be to big of a breed either otherwise your going to end up with problems
