:bouquet:  Sorry to hear about Socks.

Our old cat developed over active thyroid. He was older than Socks when diagnosed but lived many years with treatment. Sorry, can't remember how much it cost. He was a stray originally and not easy to give medication to. He stayed very thin even though he had medication but lived until about 18.

Good luck with Socks.

Sad day yesterday. Socks took turn for the worst and I had to take him for a final ride to the vets.  Tried to be very brave .... but ended up blubbing back to the car.

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
