Smallholding for Rent in Normandy
« on: November 21, 2012, 05:16:30 pm »
hi
If anyone is interested in either renting our Smallholding, or swapping rental on a smaller property almost anywhere in mainland UK, please drop me an email for a link with all the details.
We have been messed for 3 weeks now by a couple of dreamers so would appreciate serious enquiries.
It has a large 3 bed house, all in very good order with CH, DG and a new roof.
6 stables, triple garage, poultry run with a handful of hens thrown in, a wildfowl pond and level fertile grazing land suitable for horses.

Whilst it has a lot of acreage, it can be let with 2 acres or up to 15acres but please be aware that selling produce is not as straightforward in France so ideally suited to horseowners/self sufficient/grow your own type folk.
Pets, within reasonable limits, will be welcome.  There is a vast network of bridlepaths and woodland walks from our back gate.

Enclosed garden huge turned over veg plot and orchards in glorious Normandy countryside on the edge of a friendly hamlet but not overlooked.  5 mins all facilities and 50 mins Caen and Deauville airports and ferries
Have to get back to UK as ailing elderly relatives and growing grandchildren call.

We would like an acre or two for our 3 field ornament ponies a 2/3 bed house, outbuildings for a workshop and space to park a company lorry.
It will eventually be for sale when market recovers so opportunity to make a life here if it works out for you.
All PMs propositions will be answered
many thanks

The need for the acre or two for us is now unneccesary, but some outbuildings, offroad parking and a decent sized garden is essential.
Please let me know what you have as we really now need move early in the new year and will consider any swap arrangement on any rural property.
