Is this electric fencing?!
« on: November 11, 2012, 02:04:44 pm »
Happily it was left by the old owner, can I use it for my chickens and how do I connect my energiser?

It has 2 tabs one at each end of the run and it looks like a fishing net!!!!!

It is temporary electric netting yes (tho looks a bit mangled). However it isnt the ideal mesh size for chickens, they need small mesh stuff. this stuff looks like the sheep/livestock sized holes. Chickens could well get stuck or get out (or have heat attack trying...:-). depends on how bold your chooks are whether they try. Also stoat can prob get in.
