Update and advice needed on 'Muddy area by sheep shelter'
« on: November 08, 2012, 05:23:30 pm »
Thanks to everyone who gave me ideas about what to do with the muddy area in front of the sheep shelter. We've dug out about ten square metres of soil and replaced it with limestone hardcore. Tomorrow I'm going to get some hydrated lime to cover it with - just wondered how many 25 kgs bags I ought to get? Is the hydrated lime just to fill in the gaps in the hardcore? If Mallows Flock or Dyedinthewool  reads this - thanks for the advice, just wondered if you could give me any idea about how much you used. Thank you
