Swans caause havoc
« on: June 01, 2009, 04:12:57 pm »
I have just returned from Cupar. On the way back, traffic in all directions was at a stand still and I saw 3 swans walking along the middle of the bridge/road. There were people out trying to "walk" them to safety but they were so stressed and were having none of it. It was sad to see so many impatient people in their cars trying to drive passed or force the swans off the road. I phoned Kenny to go out and walk them over the car park and walk them down the side of the hotel and back on to the river as we have done this many times in the past. What a shame that people are so rude and is no much of a hurry all the time. Eventually Kenny caught 2 and released them onto the water, the 3rd ran back itself. A happy ending eventually.
