LeJog
« on: October 30, 2012, 10:10:13 am »
There was a knock on the door at the weekend, which is a rare event as we are down a quiet single track road. It was a man informing me that the Lands End to John O'Groats (LeJog) reliability trial and classic car tour is coming past my house on 1st Dec. There are entrants from Europe, UK and Ireland.
Unfortunately the first cars aren't expected until 21.37 so it will be dark but I will definitely be out there cheering them on. I am actually quite excited.  :excited:

Would love to see that. Even if its dark you must try and get some pics. Can I ask why he had to tell you.

Bucketman, I will have my camera at the ready but not sure how the pics will come out.
They are making us aware that there will be more traffic through our little lane than usual and also giving us a contact if we need to discuss stock on unfenced roads or gates which require marshalling.

I can only find a general route on their website.
It says there is a minimum of 45 vehicles and a max of 80 so it should be quite interesting.
