Spinners Corner in pictures

Please bear in mind that once the show was properly open, I never had time to blow my nose much less take any pictures..!  So these are all from 'early doors'.

It looks like you were a hit with those two

Oh I do so wish I could have been there  :( :( :( :gloomy:

It's much more open and bright than I had imagined.  I wonder if there will be as much space at Lanark?  I doubt it somehow but fingers crossed.

Meeeeee ttoooooo!!!

I think there should be...

And if I'd managed to take any pics later in the day, it would not have looked 'open and bright' so much as 'heaving and bustling'! :D

and whilst Sally is very good not to have named them I can the little 2 are mine they both loved the spinning wheels and Sally.

I can safely say when i get land (so have fleeces)or a bit of spare cash before then Caitlin (the bigger child) would love to learn to spin properly...

Sally provided a wonderful demonstration and was very patient with them.  :knit:

Fleeces never are a problem... I've had several sitting around my house for years! I could even borrow a spinning wheel - now just to find time and space... :-\

:-[ blush   :eyelashes:  They're lovely - and I am pretty sure Caitlin will be able to help with the demonstrations by next year!  I loved watching her mimicing the way I spin the wheel, move the yarn along the hooks, etc.

In fact, I should also have credited the (very small) photographer, who took the top two of the second post, and the last one in the third and final post, on my mobile phone!  :D  (Along with quite a few of the floor, the ceiling...  :D)
