Christmas present ideas!!!
« on: December 03, 2013, 03:18:15 pm »
Hi, not that I need any ideas as I will send money to my family so they can get things they need, we, as a couple buy something like a £10 gift as we honestly have pennies to spend.....anyway, a friend asked what to buy for her 50 year old dad who always leaves things in his draw, my dad used to do the same and my husband does too...so, ideas may be a good way forward....not expensive though....
My best gift to  my husband was a subscription to the allotment that backed onto our garden, it was an unbelievable £5 a year!! bet its not that cheap now? we also had access through our garden to it, sadly we gave in and left it to someone else as it was full of weeds etc.....I love vouchers for meals or cinema etc so Ideas please? :santa:

A subscription to a magazine?
Life is like a bowl of cherries, mostly yummy but some dodgy bits

Don't wrestle with pigs, they will love it and you will just get all muddy.

Let go of who you are and become who you are meant to be.

When my daughter got to the teenage stage, I would still buy loads of presents but always bought them 3 magazines each, new PJ's and bubble bath for example, we all used to love that treat of reading something that we nominally would not buy...so much choice now too! I love that idea, you can even get newspapers sent to people who have moved from the area......
