Hiya Womble,
The floors aren't fixed

In fact, we only use the floors in winter in the Kunekune arks - I worry about the weight of my Large Black sows on a wooden floor

But it's been so wet this year I think they'll all be coming into the shed for winter

We lie down a few heavy pallets, nail a piece of heavy board to it (normally 18mm OSB board so that it's got slightly more grip than smooth board) and Bruce cuts it to size using his chainsaw (I'm not allowed to touch it

) then the ark simply fits over the top. It's a fairly snug fit, but the arc can be flipped off to make cleaning a breeze

The plan for next year is to get some rubber matting to go over the floor too.
Old palletts........ gotta love 'em

Karen
