A place to live in the Scottish Borders?

We are a couple moving to the Jedburgh area and are looking for an affordable place to live. Perhaps a caravan or yurt? or even just a place to put one? We can offer many skills and plenty of enthusiasm and/or simply pay rent.  Thanks
