Tales from a Smallholding

Hello, looking forward to joining the forum and hearing about other people's smallholding tales.  I live in that well-groomed county, Essex, where many of my neighbours think I live a strange kind of life, so I've started a blog to make sense of it all and share information with other like minded people (blueborage.blogspot.com).  I'm turning a two acre field into a productive smallholding and it'll be good to chat about animals/vegetables/recipes/a muddy life.
