Saturday night at the Showground?
« on: September 28, 2012, 01:39:59 pm »
Well, having hooked up with Milly Molly, we'll be in Forfar Saturday evening.

Can anyone recommend somewhere for a bite of supper either en route or in Forfar?  Or better yet, is there anyone else interested in meeting up for a bite and a pint or something?

Cool   :excited:   Which takeaways are recommended?  (MM, I'll bring wine - white or red or both?)

There is an Indian take-away just down the road, which is ok, if a bit colourful (I think they like their food colouring), also F&C in town. I am sure there wil be a pizza place somewhere too.
As I will have two children with me going out to a pub is probably not possible, but take-away sounds great.

The Indian is ok, though yes colourful. It does do sit in if you want too. My nieces like that one because of how colourful the rice is  :roflanim:  Fish and chip shop is a little further away, but still an easy walk. There are a couple of pubs within walking distance that I've eaten in too, both fine.

Well I did think of asking where we'd get good wholesome homegrown meat and veg to takeaway on a Saturday night in Forfar...  :-J

Hope everyone is enjoying themselves, really hoped to get there but as usual in my life other things got in the way.
Looking forward to lots of piccies, even though they'll make me feel more envious !
