Wow brilliant!  I was there cheering the buffaloes along, and the baby buffalo - what a hero!

nice one russ - tenacious b*ggers those buffalo - i know its nature "red in tooth and claw" but hurrah for the young 'un getting away

yes I thought it well worth putting on ..... it is nature and all that , but it is nice to see the outcome as it is in this clip !!! good ole baby buff...well done big buff... nice one.....

When I started to watch it, I though "the calf will get away" but as the clip went on, I started to think that there was no way it woudl survive, given the tug-of-war, with it as the rope and the number of lions around it. I was sort of watching it with one eye closed.
