Good luck with your boy, sounds like you have done all you can. I have fluke dosed mine for the first time in 14 years as this is the first time the fields have laid wet right through the year and I don't want to wait for cases to show. Expensive yes, but i'd rather be safe.....

Well it is a very sad day, my little soldier did his best to hang on. He was still alive when I got back yesterday morning but he was very weak and looked utterly miserable. OH and I discussed whether it would be kinder to put him to sleep but the decision was taken out of our hands as this morning I went to check on him and he was finally at peace.
 
I really hate the fact that one of my animals has had to suffer like this but I guess all I can do is put it down to experience and make sure none of the others suffer in the same way. All the flock have been treated with Fasinex now and I will be doing a follow up later in the winter so  .
 
I'll miss the little fella as he was a canny little chap but I'm relieved that at least his suffering is over now.

So sorry to hear this but yes chalk it up to experience and move on.  Important thing is not to beat yourself up over it (been there got the t-shirt etc).
