Have i missed something here, why has all the posts from the members now read "joined jan 1970" has wee gremlins got in?

Uh, yours says 'Joined May 2011', lill, and others are still as they should be.  Maybe it was a glitch, maybe it's a gremlin your end?

I think it's got something to do with the "Hero" vs "Newbie" status that's been a wee bit contentious recently - mind, I didn't think the forum had been running since 1970

yes on the lap top everybody joined in 1970   but Lillian's lap top did not record the same as the main one     if it is done to remove the tension with posts it may just work      but IMO i don't think it will   some are just out for a bit of qrm

I think it's a good idea to remove the number of posts.  we are all equal on here so number of posts shouldn't matter.  I only researched the number of zero posting members because I was looking for the person who made Plums leave, as I had no idea what had been going on. 

I am really sorry about Plums and hope she'll feel able to come back soon, as I did after I had similar treatment from another poster.

I don't post as much as I did, have more to do with my time and not so interested in some threads as I used to be.

All in all this is a great forum and there is a huge knowledge base on innumerable subjects, despite what seem folk have said on my number of posts thread.  Those are the moaners.  I think I'll lock that one now if that's OK Dan, but unlock it if you feel it's still worthwhile.  It was just meant as an observation and seems to have gone beyond that.

Keep doing what you're doing Dan!
