Shrinking comb
« on: September 11, 2012, 04:23:54 pm »
One of my hens combs is shrinking and looking more purple/pink than red - she generally seems a bit off (keeps herself apart a little).  She is the only one left of my original flock but is less than 2, and seems to have settled OKish with this years 'chicks', but that tribe is dominated by the ex batts at food time even though they all sleep together now.  I make sure there are plenty of food and water vessles and even hand feed her a bit of grain, although they all freerange in the day.  They are all on Flubinvet at the mo as a few of the ex batts have got gape worm.  Any ideas?  Thanks Fiona
