Small east facing plot.
« on: September 06, 2012, 02:54:11 pm »
I've got a small 6ft square 'plot' outside the kitchen door, Being east facing it only gets the sun until late morning... Has anyone got any idea's of what I could plant in it?  Preferably something edible / medicinal / useful.

The type of herbs which like plenty of sun, such as thyme, marjoram, oregano and so on won't like it.  Other herbs such as mint, chives, parsley will love it.  You could also sow something like mizuna as a cut-and-come-again salad crop for a quick sandwich filling, and salad onions.  There will be lots more things - I just can't think of them at the moment  ::) :garden:
