Broody hen wants some chicks
« on: September 03, 2012, 09:27:18 am »
Everytime I think that's the last of my hens going broody for the year yet another decides that it would like some chicks of her own.  I have just hatched 7 chicks with one of my hybrids and no sooner did they all start peeking out from under mum then one of my RIRs has gone broody.  I really have no need for nay more chicks this year as this is my 3rd lot hatched so if anybody living near me would like the services of a broody then please get intouch, you can either bring  the eggs to me and we can hatch them on my site or we can move the broody to you for a wee holiday till she has them hatched and reared.

I am based just outside Forfar (East Scotland)
