No dogs on the sofa, I've heard that one before. Then you say no dogs on the bed and somehow that gets to no dogs IN the bed  :roflanim:

She's lovely

I have a good friend who has Bassets. Love the size of their feet, definitely big dogs on short legs. His dogs' ears completely turn off when their noses have picked up a scent - and they can certainly dig  :D They are really friendly and affectionate - they come and lean on my legs  ;D

Good for OH  ;) What's the point of s sofa - surely they were designed for a heap of dogs and kids  ;D

Yeh, my rule has degenerated to 'no animals under the covers'  :D

Yep, they're pretty stubborn - nose in gear, ears off  :D

As for digging, definitely the full 'getting to Australia' bit. They were bred for hunting (by nose) and then digging out badgers and rabbits. Mind you, the younger one of my friend's is only a half-hearted digger, my border collie boy is worse  ::)
