Robert it's Sitka spruce would that be poisonous? The area usually stays dry ie 2 ft of snow everywhere and only 3mm covering in there. PP you've see the area we're on about - I've had no luck talking OH into this in the past but now he's seriously considering it

mine dont root much under the trees as the tree roots keep the soil together more than just regular land. meat pigs r just a short term venture, if it doesnt suit u, u can just send em away sooner. they only need somewhere for 4 mths. if it doesnt work out, u can bring the blighters here to finish.
