Lamb/Sheep weigh
« on: August 15, 2012, 08:48:35 pm »
anybody know of a cheap way of making an old lamb weigh work again? its one with the big clock face gauge on it
it seems to work but if you put the same lamb in twice the weight can differer by as much as 30 pounds!
ive looked at the Pharmweigh converter but they are dearer than a new weigh!

 Thanks in advance  ;D

Where i live they have Bristol Scale Company that recalibrates and fixes scales of all kinds. I am sure you ar enot local to this but I bet there are other places close to you that would offer the same service. Where roughly are you?

From 3 to 30 and still flocking up!

What about an alternative weighing method - you can get a balance scale up to 150 kilos for 25 quid?  Not sure how to suspend them from it though!  Any ideas?

Geest Barrett, it must be designed for pigs as on the scale it says "bacon weight"  :pig:
