Hello Everybody

Hello. My name is Bethan and I live in the Nantlle Valley in beautiful North Wales along with my rescue collie , three rescue cats and four chickens. For the first time this year I have dug a vegetable plot in my garden. The next step, this weekend ,is to fence it off and make it chicken proof. This really is a first for me! I have NEVER grown any veg. I have also bought a greenhouse which I am having erected in the next couple of weeks. Having had fresh eggs off my girls for years (ex battery girls) I had thought of growing runner beans , lettuce, tomatoes and other bits for a while. I have already planted some strawberry plants in pots and they seem to be growing by the day. This year I really have taken the plunge!! No doubt I will be on here asking for help.

Well done Bethan, good luck and welcome to the forum from Central Scotland.  Nearly put a 'Y' on the end of your name there - my grand-daughter's name is Bethany!

He-he the slugs loved every thing, so did the pig and the chickens, I'm giving it ago again this year, and things are coming along so much better(without the added slugs). The old post on here are a wealth of knowledge. Good luck, hope thing go well for you. :hshoe: :D
