I got my two goldens last september and spent this time last year frantically getting goat house and fencing done so I know how you feel - bet you can't wait for yours to arrive!  Worth getting the barn ready first, of course, so then you can spend more time with them while they get used to their new home.

And make sure you plan ahead for next year - I didn't intend to keep more than two but now there are three...

look forward to hearing all about them and your Barn

:D we had 3 for years then went for 1 more to make it up to 4 and came home with 3  ::) so a new 30ft x 10 ft  goat shed had to be built extra quick  :o
since then we have lost 2 oldies but had 2 nanny kids born in april 2011 and although we where not keeping them they are still here  :innocent:
then we have just added a Boer into the herd  :innocent:

The OH has already tried to get me to agree to a Donkey (don't know why) see just loves them.  but we will keep with the two goats and then see

Will publish photos of the barn and its costs - not taking into account the weather.

Goats are addictive - the more you have, the more you want.  Donkeys are sweet too.  I'd be tempted if I had a field.

Totally! I wish I had another couple of acres! We moved here thinking the garden was MASSIVE, not now!

Well done you, that's fantastic and very nice to be organised before they arrive (unusual in our book).  They will repay you in many ways I am sure.
