normal for tup lambs to fight with gimmers ???
« on: May 10, 2009, 07:21:31 pm »
A couple of my tup lambs have been going 'head to head' with my gimmers (mostly with the best one - sods law!!)  Is this normal behaviour?  I thought it would be normal for them to have boys rough n tumble games and 'practice fighting' with each other but didn't expect any aggro with the females!  They are approaching 4 months old and due to be 'sent off' at weaning right at the end of May.  Could a factor be the lack of grass to keep them occupied?  They are getting 'cake' but there isn't much grass.
