Pygmy goats wanted
« on: July 31, 2012, 09:34:58 pm »

I have decided to give in to family pressure and get 2 pygmy goats, (I didn't take a lot of persuading).
so the question is does anyone have any for sale at the moment, or know of any for sale?

Agree about the pygmy goat club. That's where we found the breeder of ours. Very helpful he was too.

Anne, should have mentioned today but didn't think - I will be taking Pebbles to meet the billy of her dreams later this year - not sure where yet although I did speak to a lady at the Border Union Show who has quite a lot (she was showing her milkers at the time) - she is in Stonehaven though (between Dundee and Aberdeen) and was prepared to have Pebbles for a sleepover.  She may have a couple of girls for you in which case I could pick them up and save you the journey.  It would mean you waiting until the end of the year though until Pebbles is in season.  I could email her if you like, or pm you her details - still a bit of a way though, I know there are a couple of people in Perthshire who have pygmies.  My own girls came from Aberdeenshire, I met the lady in Perth mart to handover.

That's great Daisy's Mum and in kid, what a bonus - can I come and see them?  Are the ducks ok?
