My kids go through fads with kiwi fruit where they can't get enough one minute and then they won't touch them so they go to waste. Just wondered if anyone had ever used them for jam or another type of preserve?

I've never tried it but have seen it in shops.  If I see any on offer I might have a go - there's bound to be a recipe on t'intenet  ;D
Always have been, always will be, a WYSIWYG - black is black, white is white - no grey in my life! But I'm mellowing in my old age

One good use for any surplus fruit is to just add it into a batch of chutney. If you don't mind being a bit experimental then adding some kiwis and a few soft bananas (or what ever is lurking at the bottom of the fruit bowl) will add to the overall fruitiness while not adding to strong a flavour.
