Medium Whites or Welsh pigs required

Hi

Just wondering if anyone knows of any medium white or welsh pigs for sale in the Hereford/Welsh border area? Have been looking around and unable to find any, will be looking for 2 females around September October time.

There's someone in Cheltenham selling off her herd - she's got weaners that will be ready mid-August.
Here's a link to the Middle White breed club website with the info http://www.middlewhite.co.uk/stock-for-sale.html
You could try the Pedigree Welsh breeders club too - their website is being worked on at the minute, but you can email info@pedigreewelsh.com or find them on facebook to enquire. There will be plenty though - you've just not looked in the right places yet  ;) (Breed clubs are always the best place to start )

It's alright, no-one does when they're starting out - hence why TAS is great  ;) ;D
Hope you manage to get some, Middle Whites are soooo cute (and meant to be really tasty too  :yum:)
Keep us posted with developments (and photo's - we like photo's we do  ;D)

Thanks again Karen. Our GOS are due to go to slaughter early August   and as we had such a good time with these we are now going to get some more.  We thought of middle white's really so we can keep one for bacon and ham. Have heard they are relatively easy to look after and taste great!!!

all pigs are relatively easy to look after  and all can be taken to bacon and ham weights  (kunnies take longer)    it is just if you like the look of one more than another :farmer:

Llanberis is not a million miles from us, but our 2 GOS are not being slaughtered until mid August  :'(  Have some work to do in their paddock, fencing etc  :farmer:  before the new ones can move in. But thank you  :pig:
