Feel like a real farmer....

...spent most of yesterday afternoon mending gates and fences with old scraps of wood and baler twine. Very satisfying indeed. :farmer:

I feel like a real farmer because I have my overalls done up with baler twine  ;D

I find silage wrap is much better for a belt as its stretchy - and over time when its stretched too much it tells you your trousers need a hot wash - where it shrinks again ready for a new wear ;)

Apparently, you are only a real farmer when you have:

1) Fallen over in a load of muck
2) Been head-butted by your tup
and 3) Accidentally injected yourself with an animal medication.

I'm feel proud to say I have achieved all 3!!

:notworthy:
Have achieved 1) and 2) but not 3) yet.  Still an apprentice farmer then although I do use scraps of wood and baler twine like smudger so that must count towards.  :farmer:
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.
