 :pig: :pig:  I bet they're laid back, friendly and fun - keep us posted with stories, please!  :D
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Thanks guys :)

Well the little fellas have settled in well, though they are eating much less of the pelleted feed than we expected....would this be due to the fact that they've come from a completely grass/vegetation-free place to one with lots of lush stuff?

Well slowly does it,

but very gradually over the days they've been here, I have managed to get them both coming to me for a good old scratch today I'm feeling suitably pleased with myself  :eyelashes:

You might find they are just too busy munching all that new green vegetation if they haven't had much before  ;)

That happened with our first lot of weaners - they only started to eat all their daily pellet ration after they had been with us about 1 month.

Enjoy!
