« on: May 03, 2009, 07:07:52 pm »
you can see a nice picture of the old stable block in my garden

well, it is no more! Got the last of the junk in it cleared out yesteray and with the help of a few friends in came down and the site was cleared in about 5 hours today

off to pick up the bricks and cement tomorrow so i can build the foundations for my new log cabin tomorrow

was nowhere near as difficult as i thought it would be!

I find a good bank letter makes the bashing down of walls so easy.  I'm with Mirimaran on the building up bit!

Concrete is poured and looking great

brick foundations for new log cabin are built

the site clean up operations is still ongoing but we have room to swing cats now!!

loads of rubble and hardcore/earth that'll be the perfect base for me to lay slabs on top of so I can relocate the greenhosues later in the year

it's coming together. Sadly the cabin won't arrive for another 2-3 weeks, so it's just gonna be a big empty space for a few weeks

Ah, you can sit out on the base and have a bottle of beer and use your imagination! Glad you had a day off, too!

Amazing how we the intelligent species slog ourselves to death to provide a nice spot in the sun for the dog, and other "less intelligent" species.  Mmm wonder if this intelligence is a really good idea after all
