Well all the ewes and lambs got an AB jab and the ones who had affected eyes got treated with Orbenin.  At one time it seemed to have cleared in all of them except two ewes; these were treated again, their eyes eventually cleared but now it seems to be doing the rounds among some of them again  ??? :( .

I've researched it and have read that treatment can have little effect in the course or severity of the disease, and most will recover unassisted - it is certainly a major pain in the **** to treat in 44 sheep and lambs.  It does say that relapse in individual animals is common, so it sounds like I have some who are prone to it  ::) .

If I had a small flock it would be much easier to control but with 44 sheep and lambs I'm going to isolate the few who are badly affected at present, and cross fingers the others will be okay!

What a time you've been having. I've never experienced anything like this before only having had sheep for 2 years. I hope I don't come across it. But I hope it clears up in your whole flock.
