100% turkey hatch rate. Thanks Rosie Posie
« on: June 21, 2012, 11:45:18 am »
What a storming result. 15 out of 15 turkey eggs have hatched.  :o . All supplied by Rosie Posie and her incredibly virile and fertile turkeys! The one is in a pot because it has a bit of a splayed leg problem. It hatched before it had absorbed its yolk sac and so is a bit dim.

Silly Spangled Appenzellers, Dutch bantams, Lavender Araucanas, a turkey called Alistair, Muscovy ducks and Jimmy the Fell pony. No pig left in the freezer, we ate him all!

Yes, the splayed one is spraddled along with one other who decided he wanted splayed legs too. Both are doing fine.

Well done :-)

We have had a distrastrous turkey year this year.  We candled them and they were fertile but they just didn't do anything :-( Very disappointing.
