I was going to nip out in the morning and take a photo of both the view and the back door...

From the back door, complete with rubble sacks, then into the Orchard and finally the pasture

View South from the back door over the land that we farm:

View North from the back door:

View of the hill to the East from the back door (It is steep, so mostly what you see from the back door is grass and sheeps' tummies!):

And lastly, a view of the back door from the top of the hill:

Like other folks whose photos are  posted on this thread, we are very lucky to live in such beautiful countryside.
Food for the soul...

Bright enough for pictures today in Aberdeenshire, from the back door (actually only door) South over Maud, west to the ducks area, north to the goats and then further to the sheepies.

Here is a view from the front door ( only door) step.

This is the view if you take 9 steps from the front door. You can still see the gate so I haven't walked far.

View of my front door! Actually, view of the hole where my front door will eventually be ;) Oh no, it's too big (the photo, not the hole) so won't work.
There are photos here though www.themeadenproject.wordpress.com - sorry, I don't have a photo account or anything

No idea why, but I can't see the photos in MAK's post - I can see all the others - what's different? They are all lovely, though...

And you really wouldn't want to see the view from my back door. Whirligig, surrounded by rubbish bins, bags of compost, old pots, flymo and other gardening materials; a stable door and my father's old desk (can't get that through the door into the house - they used to build desks bigger than these days...). In one word - mess. One of these days I'll get a decent view, too - or at least a shed so I can put the stuff away! :D

well, more through it really
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing

Still can't see anything... Weird. Maybe my PC is just getting on a bit in age - keeps telling me I should upgrade this and that - but it's just weird because I can see al  the others! ??? Not to worry! I'm sure yours is just as wonderful as all the others!
