Im sure the pesky rabbits will eventually get in, but Im quite proud of the job I've done to enclose my four raised beds. I can now actually put them to use without knowing the rabbits will get everything their nose touches!

It looks really good.   I know a lot of people back home have to enclose their gardens, sometimes with pretty robust fences (bears!).     I wish we could enclose ours, it would keep the dog and or chickens out!

I have done a bit more work to then. I "recycled" some of the thin wood slats that have come off our old roof and used them to go around the top of the fencing to make it a bit more stable. The vertical ones have now been cut to a consistent height.

No as it would have taken too much time so I hav put a course of bricks round the whole outside, and then will deal with rabbits digging as and when.

Yes - we are in the process of gearing up to do exactly what you have just done.

We have access to a mini-digger so could dig the required trenches but it is a major piece of work 

I did mention to OH last night that maybe we could just put slabs all round the perimeter but we have got about 350m to do 

We are going to have a trial run this weekend and see just what a nauze it is.

I have to say that your fence looks beautiful. The exact archetype of what we are hoping to achieve. It's an inspiration

Suzie, you can also put wire netting flat on the ground around the perimeter. Peg it down and the grass will grow through it and keep it firmly anchored.

 Some of my three foot high by 3 foot by three foot beds of  raised beds as viewed from the lawn ( higher side ) they are only three feet wide  and on the hidden side there is a mtr wide concrete path way all round so I never need to tread on the gardens .
 
Years ago  when we had similar  system to the OP's set up  we had to put up electric tape to deter deer and stop horses rudding agains the posts .
 
 I did how ever dig in  a two foot width of chain  link right round the beds to keep out rabbits , badgers  and our dogs.
