They do look very realistic.  Do you dye them or use naturally coloured fleece? (the stuff I have is white).  Did you also make the dress?  I wish I had the figure to look good in a design like that  :(   I would probably just trail the sleeves in my soup though  ::)

I sewed them on to the ends of my real dreads and then dyed them with l'oreal or some such ;D
I had the dress made and also wish I still had the figure to fit into it :(

I have found a local spinning group,  yipee... I am going next Tuesday afternoon so will see what they have to say about carders.

Great news Sally, I hope (and expect) they're as friendly and helpful as the folks at the two Guilds near me.
Don't listen to the money men - they know the price of everything and the value of nothing

Live in a cohousing community with small farm for our own use.  Dairy cows (rearing their own calves for beef), pigs, sheep for meat and fleece, ducks and hens for eggs, veg and fruit growing
