Herefordshire Redstreak - problems
« on: June 05, 2012, 11:55:33 am »
Over the winter we planted a row of cider apple trees to espalier along our driveway.

They have all done well during the spring but now two of the three Herefordshire Redstreaks have started to develop problems. The leaves seem to be turning black and curling up and the terminal bud seems to have died off.

We initially thought it was frost damage but is seems to be progressing.

Any suggestions as to what it might be?

Thanks
