Ixworth hens

I have an Ixworth cockeriel and one hen running with all my other hens but when i tried to hatch her eggs nothing happened, so I am looking for more hens. I live in Carmarthenshire.  Are they a difficult egg to hatch as my incubator is a good one and just hatched 6 Kahkis?

How many other hens you got ? He may not of actually got round to treading her, they do have favourites. I would pen the cock and hen up together for a couple weeks.

Thats your problem then, too many hens. Maximum ratio should be around 7:1.
