Shows 2011 what was the weather really like.
« on: May 14, 2012, 12:17:04 pm »
Just thought I would see how many attended shows in 2011 and remembered what the weather was like on the day of the show. Ok i'll start, Fife show May 2011 sunny but cold wind.  Other Fife show- cold a wee wind but cleared up in afternoon, oh Lesmahagow Show- Rain, hail, sleet, strong winds and nice sunshine seems that all the 4 seasons arrived in one day, no damage to pop up gazebos or tents, any damaged done at any other shows that you attended?

Kirkintilloch 2011 - wet and REALLY windy (pop-up gazebo got gubbed  :o)
Lesmahagow - yeah, 'nuff said  ::) ;D (Keeping everything crossed for a heatwave to start like, now for this year )
The Highland was nice (mainly) on the Thursday, slight bit of rain if memory serves (my justification for buying a hat ;))
Westmoreland - wet is probably an understatement  :D :D :D Travelled home looking like a tramp cos I'd used up all my clean stuff and was caked in mud  :o

Fingers crossed this year's drier, warmer and sunnier  8) 8) 8)
