Heavy Breathing in Ewes
« on: May 09, 2012, 02:39:08 pm »
I have two Shetland ewes that both lambed a couple of weeks ago

over the last day or so they have been breathing very heavily and rapidly, there are no signs of any issues apart from that, they are eating ok, are active, no stiffness, grinding teeth or mobility problems -  their lambs seem happy and are suckling

They have access to shelter, feed and bucket licks

Should I be concerned? My two other recently lambed ewes are fine
