My second batch of lambing has started !
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:41:08 pm »
Well five weeks after the first lot ended I have my next three to lamb.  No indications last night and this morning a gorgeous Soay ewe lamb (Apricot).  Finally managed to catch her to give her iodine but Mum will not be inside.  Just have to keep my fingers crossed she survives this awful rain!

Yey! We had a lamb this morning too. 5 weeks since our last 2 were born (maybe our rams are related ?? ) Had given up on 4 hourly checks but mummy obviously thought that this weather was perfect. They are snuggled up in the barn. Hope the rest follow on shortly.
