I'm running something similar with my lleyn cross wilts ewes - block of 50, all lambed, 98 lambs on the ground. I can count my morts/orphans on one hand.

With sheep prices att 102 each and calfs 480 its not worth doin eney think else, take the 230 chickins no money from october till the first off march. £2000 pound to keep.best sell september and start april or not bother.iv made good money but electricatey is £260 a month on the chicks sheds. I dont think.chickins long term is worth itt.yes keep 10 on scraps etc but rearing utilatey birds at point off lay £10 not much profit. You need stock march april price drops may so birds need hatching christmas light heat and getting stock in condidion. First time looking att the big picture feed is very high. The set up was very high good sheds incubaters brooders etc

I have 39 from 19 ewes. These Lleyns are a brilliant breed. Milk like dairy cows, top mothers and finish on grass at around 40-42kg.

Bit difficult to follow your thoughts on your poultry. If your selling pol at £10 for utility breeds your selling to cheap.
I breed utility and my bird are £25 each at POL.
You need to break your birds into 3 groups of different ages, so as one lot stops laying another lot start.

bit of a difference on the lambing percentage one getting 100%  the other getting 200%
enjoy the high prices it is not that long ago that old ewes were 50p each
poultry  it depends on your location and the demand for them
but if you want to hemorrhage money at an awful speed get some pigs :farmer:
