Road Legal Quads
« on: April 16, 2012, 04:56:51 pm »
Hello!

having ridden quads on the farm for a wee while now the itch is their to have one legally i can use on the road seeing as i have not passed my driving test.

dose anyone have/use on on the road??  if so pros and cons??

it will be used for short trips mostly to and from college - the job that my moped was supposed to do - but is is proving to be a bad buy and will be getting traded in asap!!

i know it's not small holding related - but i just thought it was worth ago!

I had a road legal quad, it did 25 to the gallon, used a set of tyre in 1200 miles and I only found out after I'd bought it that nobody would insure me as they're stolen so often, the insurance went up after the first year not down as I'd expected. I sold it,
Stick with the moped!!
