Shrubs for shade
« on: May 22, 2012, 06:42:39 pm »
The front of the house doesn't get sun until approx 3pm.  I have a border under the windows on each side of the front door running the full width of the house.  At the moment there are bluebells flowering on one side and persistent mint on the other.  The time has come to make the front garden look respectable.  Can anyone suggest with what I may 'bush out my borders'! (obviously something that copes with the shade and remains below window ledge height). :-\
Doing that swan thing - cool and calm on the surface but paddling like crazy beneath.
