Hi all

I'm in the process of making my chicken enclosure. I've been cleaing the area and had a thought. There is ivy growing along the fence, much of which I have cleared, but I'm not even sure what sort it is.

This got me thinking  ???

What if its poison ivy  :o

Could it harm my chooks to be?

Can anyone advise me please.

Many thanks flipflopper

I don't thin our ivy ie UK ivy is poisonous - birds eat the berries and our sheep ate the foliage (into a perfect line at head height) and were no worse for it.

Thank you both

I wont clear too much more. Its hard work and time consuming. I want to get on with my enclosure then order a coop.

You've helped clear my mind. I'm sure you are right about america and te ivy i have may not taste too nice but shouldnt kill.

fingers crossed anyway

thanks again
