I've never had this problem before - as nothing at all happened to the dwarves (inside and under glass) for too long  I checked and they all had turned into mush rather than sprouting lovelies! Is it worth trying a new lot in the same container again or do I have an organism in there??

Don't know the answer but same thing has happened to my peas and beans in the conservatory.  I reckon I've over watered without it being quite warm enough.  I've stuck more in same place.

the peas are fine outside under fleece. I'll try again with the beans, thanks, Annie.
