And quite often accompanied by a few loud screams; once she starts the real pushing, it should not take long for you to see something making an appearance :)

It was contractions and she delivered a little boy at 5pm!  he's a little cutie and he's had loads of colostrum off of mum.  absolutely shattered now! (me and her!)

I think what I learnt from the increased appetite 24 hours pre kidding was that Puffin was filling her udder! she was going through hay, docks, grass, branches like there's no tomorrow and her udder just ballooned. this is my guess anyway  ;D
