Spring must be here!

  First quail egg today.

Quail keepers .....have yours started yet?

no ... and I "had words" with them today, reminded them that they are supposed to earn their keep!!

But thanks for telling us,  makes me hopeful!

the chickens are doing well, and the ducks :)

i have already hatched out 40 eggs from my own birds lol and there laying well

OOOOHHHH!!!!!!!

That makes my one little quail egg look rather pitiful .....and I was so pleased.

Have you got lights in there or are you in the sunny south?

no am in edinburgh dont know what happened this year they have been laying since january altho we had no snow here and its not been to cold am getting 5 or six eggs aday from 6 hens a pen have 5 pens 1 male 6 females

just about to set 48 more eggs but these are bought in

Got my first Quail egg of the year today :thumbsup: I'm very happy, up here on the Isle of Mull ;D ;D. My Chickens are doing quite well to, but could do better :chook:.
